Inside Sew Alluring: My IT Guy and My Mascot

I = Inside Sew Alluring and IT

My hubby and I love watching TV series on Netflix, and The IT Crowd is one of our faves. It’s a really funny show about a couple of guys who work in an IT department. Whenever they answer the phone, they lead the conversation with, “Have you tried turning it off and on again?” It’s pretty hilarious…

It probably resonates with us even more because my hubby is an IT guy.

I know what I’m doing when it comes to WordPress, but when perplexing technical issues arise with Sew Alluring,  I turn to my hubby for IT support — after I’ve already tried turning it off and on again, of course. Lucky for me, he’s usually happy to help.

I snapped this picture one night a while back because it was just such a cute moment:

While hubby was working on my site, our chihuahua Buttercup (my aforementioned mascot) immediately jumped in to help.

I don’t know what I’d do without them!

Blogging really is a family and full house affair. Oh the things mine deals with when I’m designing a new crochet item or trying to finish something that has been taking too long to get done. I do sew a little, but yarn and needlework keep me going strong most of the time. From what I’ve seen, you make some really neat things. Sew cool!

Yeah, it sure does help to have someone skilled in IT when trying to write a blog. My IT person is a 14 year old daughter who’m I lovingly refer to as “The Teenager named Miss Thang Tammy”. When it comes to computers she runs circles around me.
